ABOUT:

Lissa Dee is a Country singer-songwriter originally from a small farm town called Tabernacle New Jersey. She is now splitting her time between San Diego and Nashville. Lissa’s influences range from Southern California Rock legends, to Country Icons, to Blues Artists such as Janis Joplin, Etta James, Chris Stapleton, Amy Winehouse, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Her voice carries both grit and soul, blending the heart of country with an edge of blues and rock.

Music has been a part of Lissa’s life from an early age. Growing up immersed in choirs, musicals, dance, and voice lessons, she later studied music in college, where she discovered her passion for songwriting. After earning her degree from Pennsylvania State University, she moved to California to chase her dreams.

She first made waves in San Diego’s music scene as the front woman of the rock band Blazing Jane, releasing two albums before stepping into her solo career as a country artist in 2022.

In 2023, Lissa released Empty Bottle, a deeply personal single that gained recognition and set the stage for an exciting new chapter.

By 2024, she had earned her first San Diego Music Award nomination in the “Best Pop Song” category, released three additional singles, and performed in Nashville and Las Vegas. She also began collaborating with acclaimed musicians and songwriters, including Johnny Garcia (Trisha Yearwood’s guitarist), Alan Sanderson, James East, and more. She capped off the year with a National Anthem performance and an acoustic arena show at the World Series Team Roping Finals in Las Vegas.

Her next release will take place on 3/21. It will be a cover of one of her favorite songs, “Starting Over”, by Chris Stapleton. She is planning to begin recording her 5 track E.P. in April.
