ABOUT:
Lissa Dee is a passionate, creative, and driven country singer-songwriter whose authentic and soulful sound blends country, rock, blues, and soul into something uniquely her own.
Originally from Tabernacle, New Jersey, Lissa discovered her love for music at an early age, performing in school choruses, church, and community music groups. Today, she resides in Southern California and spends much of her time writing, recording, and performing regularly.
Lissa’s diverse musical roots and vocal range allow her to cross genre boundaries. With vocal inspiration from Christina Aguilera, Amy Winehouse, and Etta James, and musical influence from Carrie Underwood, Chris Stapleton, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers, she delivers a bold sound.
Her breakout single, “Empty Bottle,” released in 2023, earned regional acclaim and a San Diego Music Award nomination for “Best Pop Song”. In 2025, she earned a bigger milestone with a nomination for “Best Country Artist”, solidifying her place as one of the most exciting female country artists on the rise in Southern California.
Over the past few years, Lissa has collaborated with major industry veterans including Johnny Garcia (Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood’s Music Director and Guitarist), Alan Sanderson (Grammy winning Audio Engineer for The Rolling Stones, Switchfoot, Elton John), James East (Grammy winning Bass player for Michael Jackson, Elton John), Mike Johnson (pedal steel player on records of Ella Langley, Luke Bryan, Jon Pardi, Willie Nelson, and many more), Rob McNelley (ACM-winning guitarist and producer, recognized as Session Player of the Year), and Scotty Sanders (pedal steel player featured on records of Brooks & Dunn, Cody Johnson, Luke Combs, and more).
In addition to her original music, Lissa is known for her powerful renditions of the National Anthem, performing at some of San Diego’s largest events such as rodeos, inaugurations, sporting events and, has sang the National Anthem at one of the largest Team Roping rodeo’s in Las Vegas - the Team Roping World Series (in 2024).
Currently, Lissa is touring across the U.S., bringing her music to rodeos, festivals, honky tonk’s, and venues. She is also working on releasing new music in 2026.
